Next Wave Championship welcomes Clip90 as title partner

Next Wave Championship welcomes Clip90 as title partner, bringing individual player video analysis, highlights and key statistics to all 72 fixtures to support player development and showcase emerging talent.

By The Next Wave Championship Newsroom

Partnership will bring individual player video analysis, highlights and key event statistics to all 72 fixtures, giving clubs and players greater insight into every performance.

The Next Wave Championship has welcomed Clip90 as a title partner, strengthening our commitment to giving emerging players meaningful competition and the tools to progress. Clip90 will provide match breakdowns across all 72 fixtures, creating individual video packs covering each player’s actions, alongside selected highlights and key event statistics. The service will give participating clubs a consistent resource for performance review and help players build a detailed record of their contribution throughout the competition. For Next Wave, it is another step towards a clear ambition: to make every competitive minute more valuable to the players on the pitch.

Every action matters

Player development happens in the detail. A well-timed interception, a pass that breaks a line or a duel under pressure can reveal as much about a player as a goal or an assist.

Through Clip90, individual performances will be broken down into organised footage covering all player actions. Successful contributions, possession losses and unsuccessful duels will form part of the analysis, giving coaches and players a fuller picture of each game. Alongside that footage, key event statistics will provide further context, helping clubs identify strengths, focus feedback and assess progress across successive matches.

Players will be able to revisit specific moments, understand the decisions they made and work with their coaches on what comes next.

Making competitive minutes count

The transition from academy football towards the senior game requires opportunities to play, be challenged and demonstrate readiness for the next level. Next Wave was created to help meet that need, bringing professional clubs and leading development programmes together in a competition built around player progression.

The Clip90 partnership adds a lasting record to those opportunities. Each fixture will generate footage and information that can support development conversations, strengthen player profiles and give scouts and recruitment teams more evidence when assessing potential. It will also support the continued development of the Next Wave platform, connecting match footage, individual clips and performance data with the competition’s match centres and player profiles.

A partnership built around players

Vivion Cox, speaking on behalf of the Next Wave Championship, said:

“We created the Next Wave Championship to give players meaningful opportunities to compete and progress. This partnership helps us take that further by making sure those performances can be properly reviewed, understood and seen. “Clip90 will give clubs and players a detailed picture of every game, with individual footage and statistics that support both development and recruitment. For coaches, that means more focused conversations with players. For players, it means clearer insight into their own game and a stronger record of what they can do.

“This is part of a series of developments we are introducing to put players at the centre of the competition. We want the quality of the experience around each fixture to match the opportunity on the pitch, and Clip90 will play an important role in delivering that.”

As a title partner, Clip90 will contribute directly to the experience of clubs and players throughout the Championship. The partnership reflects our belief that a development competition should give participants more than a fixture list: it should help them learn from their performances and build towards their next opportunity.

Nash Sundire, Founder of Clip90, said:

“We’re delighted to become title partner of the Next Wave Championship. There is so much more to a player’s performance than goals and assists, and our role is to make those contributions visible. By capturing every player’s actions across all 72 fixtures, we can help coaches give more focused feedback and give emerging players the evidence to learn, improve and showcase their ability.”
