Connect an AI assistant
Link ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to the championship so it can look up fixtures, the league table, players, news and your club's registration and team sheet status.

https://www.nextwavechampionship.com/mcpSign in with the same account you use for the club portal. Your assistant then works with your club's live data, so you can ask questions without opening the portal.
Permissions matrix

Sensitive personal data is deliberately withheld. Dates of birth are never returned in full — the assistant can confirm an age band or eligibility only. Uploaded documents (photo ID, consent forms) are never shared as files or links; the assistant can only say whether a required document is present, missing or expired. Nothing is written back: submitting, approving and uploading always happen in the portal, by you.

Player registrations
- “Which of my players are still awaiting league approval?”

Team sheets
- “Is my team sheet in for the next fixture?”
- “When is the team sheet deadline for this weekend?”
- “Has the league approved my last team sheet?”
Fixtures and kick-offs
- “What are my club's next three fixtures and where are they?”
- “Which fixtures still need a kick-off time or venue confirmed?”
- “Do I have any date change requests waiting on the league?”
Availability and discipline
- “Which players are suspended or unavailable this weekend?”
- “How many bookings is each player on?”
- “When does my suspended player become available again?”
Match video
- “Which matches am I still missing video for?”
- “Has the league reviewed my last uploaded video?”
League position and form
- “Where are we in the table and what is our recent form?”
- “How do we compare with our next opponent?”
The assistant reads this information — submitting, approving and uploading still happen in the portal.
- Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode, reading the risk notice shown there. If you can't see it, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it for you.
- Open the New plugin dialog.
- Enter Next Wave Hub as the name and paste the link above into the URL field.
- Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
- Turn the app on from the chat box, then ask ChatGPT about fixtures, the table or your club.
- Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select this app.
- Scroll down to Information and click Refresh.
- ChatGPT can’t change an existing app’s URL — if the link above has changed, delete the app and add it again using the connect steps.
- Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.
You’ll be asked to sign in with your Next Wave Championship account the first time you connect. The assistant only sees what you can see in the portal — public competition data plus your own club’s registrations and team sheets.
